The Fun we had at the Arata Pumpkin Patch

This year, on October 23, was the first year that everyone in the school went to the Arata Pumpkin Patch. Usually only the lower grades and the eighth grade goes. This year we did something unique. This year everyone got to enjoy the fun at the Pumpkin Patch.

The Hay Maze, which was very popular, was unexpectedly difficult. It had many dead ends, and it was hard to go through without finding the beginning. Everyone was being split up and got lost in the maze. Also many people were climbing over the walls to find the end. Kasama, a seventh grader, said, "It was very fun and exciting."

Another very entertaining appeal was the Huanted House. It had creepy dolls, scray noises, and cobwebs. The dolls had blood on their faces and the spiders were very big. Mia, an eighth grader, says," I was freaked out becuase of the gory things they had in the house."

The Hay Ride was also very fun for the children. Eventhough it was slow, it was fun. Sebastian even chased the Hay Ride. The Hay Ride was controlled by a man and it had hay as seats.

The school went from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. We came back just in time for lunch. The school didn't have lunch at the pumpkin patch because bees would come and scare the kids.
