Let's get inside a frog!

The upper grade class have been doing hands on science with an organization called Celsius and Beyond. On Monday, we dissected a frog. We were paired up in partners to make an incision into the body.
After we cut the frog open we had the organs and the kidney etc. Natasha J. and Sophia B. actually found frog eggs inside the frog. We had all the proper attire for dissecting the frog.

Almost all of the students were disgusted by the activity at first, but when they started getting into the depth, they were fine. The point of cutting the frog open was to stitch it back together. Everyone took turns to stitch it one by one, but that was the most difficult part of the process. All the students of the upper grades are willing to do this again!
