There is Actually a Lego Pompeii

There is a actually a Lego Pompeii.  Composed of 190,000 Lego Bricks, it is amazing.  It was made by Ryan McNaught.
Pompeii was engulfed by lava in 79 Anno Domini.  Or, something like 83 years after Jesus Christ was Born.  It is in a museum currently.
Pompeii was buried in ash and lava by Mount Vesuvius.

The Lego Pompeii reconstruction (pictured) took a master Lego builder 470 hours to complete and consists of more than 190,000 individual blocks. It is on display at Sydney University’s Nicholson Museum
