Teachers are saying that students that play video games and watch too much TV are developing short attention spans. Ms. Hope Molina-Porter says that teachers are part of the reason attention spans are getting shorter, because teachers are changing their lessons for students with short attention spans. Vicky Rideout is a researcher who has found that children and teenagers from ages 8 to 18 spend twice as much time on their electronics than at school. Around 75% of 2,462 teachers say that computers help students to find resources for reports. Though, nearly 90% of the same teachers say that electronics make students easily distracted.
