Report on the White House Science Fair

Listen to President Obama's speech below (you may also want to watch Judy and Adam's video below, as it's related). Go to the website of the White House for additional information. Then write a news story about. Remember to answer the five W's of a good news story. Also, do not forget to include labels, links, video, and photos in your post.

Adam and Judy spent a week in Boston working with three kids for Design Squad Nation's Trash to Treasure competition.  MaryAnn, Lilly and Daniel were the three grand prize winners for this year’s competition.

The following is from Judy. Write an article about the contest, embed the video, and then include information from below. Remember to put it your own words.
But wait it gets better!

MaryAnn and Lilly had the great opportunity to take their inventions to the White House Science fair on Monday, which brought together winners of a broad range of science, technology, engineering, and math competitions from around the country.

The White House chose to showcase MaryAnn and her Smarter Toilet. MaryAnn’s trip to the White House Science Fair was an amazing success!  Every White House staffer that spoke with MaryAnn said that “The Smarter Toilet” was their favorite invention at the fair.  MaryAnn also got to meet the new head of NSF and his family.

To top it all off, at the end of the day, both MaryAnn and Lilly got to shake President Obama’s hand, and MaryAnn even got the President to sign a note excusing her from school that day!
