Da Vinci is a very well known historical artist. He had numerous famous paintings from around 600 years ago. Thus his life being somewhat mysterious because he lived so long ago. There has been a few conspiracy theories of him taking part in secret societys.
One of the main conspiracies, was that he took part in a secret society named Priority of Sion. The society was founded in 1099, allegedly the Priory was devoted to installing a secret bloodline of the Merovingian dynasty on the thrones of France and the rest of Europe.
Numerous books, and shows have been made about Da Vinci taking part in the societies. There is a couple different reasons for why he joined, and what his purpose was in the society but all of the reasons have beeen recently deminished after they discovered the evidence supporting him taking part in the society was a hoax.
