The German History museums forbidden exhibit

Ever since Germany lost WW2 they tried to hide all relations with Nazis . Now in Germany you can get a penalty for impersonating Nazis wearing uniforms or mentioning Nazi slogans in public you can be charged and sent to prison . However Germany struggles to get rid of some Nazi elements . The forbidden exhibit comsists of everything from high ranking SS uniforms  propoganda posters a flak cannon even a signed compy of Mein Kampf (Hitlers book ) .
Some officals said the exhibit was offensive , and a part of history that should be forgotten. However  history can not be erased and forgotten. This exhibit shows us how history can repeat itself and why its shouldnt . I think that it is a mistake that officials are trying to erase history , we learn from history so we dont repeat the previous generations mistakes . It may be shamefull that a country lost two world wars and destroyed Europes population but if we forget about history it can very easily be repeated .
