Donald Trump leads America

Donald Trump of the Republican Party has now become the 45th president of the United States of America. He was elected as the new president for America on Tuesday, November 8th of 2016. Trump had won with 279 electoral votes and beat his competitor for the Democratic Party against Hillary Clinton, who only had 228 electoral votes at the end of the race. This was very disappointing for many of Hillary Clinton's followers because they really wanted her to win the election.

The day after the election, Berkeley High School had a protest. They all walked out of school and stood in front of the school and protested. They were all holding signs and flags including the Mexican flag in protest. Also in Los Angeles, more than 1,000 young students were protesting outside of Los Angeles's city hall. In Los Angeles, a burning fake Trump head blocked Spring and First street for hours.

My opinion is that this is scary that there are so many protesters that are mad and sad because Donald Trump got elected and burning buildings and roads. I hope that this will get resolved quickly so nobody or nothing else is destroyed.
