A Man Survives A 50,000 Foot Drop

A man survived a over a 50,000 foot drop when is rocket was disintegrating around him. Sadly, his co-pilot was found dead in his seat in the ruins of the rocket. The man, Pilot Peter Siebold was falling through the air, -70 degrees below zero. Another 92-year-old test pilot survived five crashes. He said that what Peter Siebold did was truly a miracle. 

Pilot Peter Siebold survived because his parachute was released automatically.
