Squishy robot twalks through ice, acid, and fire!

Scientist George M. Whitesides recently created a robot that can walk through ice under -9 Celsius (15.8 Fahrenheit) Kelvin matched Flames for 50 seconds, and acid. The Robot is made out of squishy silicon rubber that is very strong. It is powered by batteries that allow it to run freely for two hours. It has a camera strapped to its back.
The robot has a catch, if the fire, ice, or acid touch the robots back, it will break down. The whole robot costs $1,111. The robot can carry 3.4 kg (7 pounds). It can also run 18 meters per hour, 0.5 centimeters per second. The robot is not controlled by anything besides the batteries.
George M. Whitesides hopes that in the future there will be more robots that dont need batteries.
