A 12 year old girl, named Maddie Gilmartin, thought that maybe she would stick her tounge to a pole. She didn't even know what could have happened to her.
Her nd her dad were working in the garage when this idea popped into her head. When she stuck her tounge to the pole she wasn't able to get off. She started waving her hands in the air. Her dad didn't know what she was doing so he walked a little closer when he noticed what was wrong. He finally got her off and her tongue was bleeding. The bleeding has stopped but her tongue will be swelled up for 6 weeks. She was stuck on the pole for fifteen minutes.
