Let's celebrate Chinese New Year!

Chinese New Year was celebrated February 9, 2013. Don't worry this holiday lasts for two weeks. This holiday was originated from China; however, it was celebrated for over 5,000 years. This holiday is the most famous holiday in Asian and North America.

If you haven't heard there will be a Chinese New Year celebrated o February 23, 2013. This wonderful celebration will start from 5:15-8pm in Chinatown San Francisco California. This parade will be crowded, but worth it in my opinion. This parade will include lion dancers, marching, a lot of food and chinese desserts. For ones who have not went to the parade before it is filled with a lot of color and festivities.

Have you seen the snake zodiac, if you have that is because this year is the year of the snake. If anyone is planning to go to the parade please leave a comment down in the comment box. There also will be stands where you may purchase items! Hope you enjoy this Chinese New Year post.   Since I celebrate the Chinese New Year because of my race/ethnicity people always say
"Gung Hay Fat Choy."
