A 200 Mile Walking Tortoiseshell

If you didn't ever think that a cat could walk 200 miles, it just happened.  A four year old tortoiseshell, Holly, an indoor cat, walked 200 miles in late November just to get back home to her owners. I don't think a human being could ever do that!

It all started when Holly's owners, Jacob and Bonnie Richter were on a trip with there cat.  Before they left Holly got lost.  Something about special about Holly is that she has an implanted microchip to locate where she is.  Most of the time dogs can't find their owners and they normally get found by some one else along the way.

Cats can easily find there way around places with sight and smell.  But you would think that it is hard to do when it is a weird, interesting, far away place.  Not for this safe tortoiseshell who finally got back on New Years Eve. =)
