Current Event: The Bay Bridge Update

Baybridge360.org is a website by baybridgeinfo.org that offers a bird's eye view of the construction of the Bay Bridge. This is a surprisingly complex website, as it includes a variety of multimedia -- photos, slide shows, and video..

The site is made with Flash, a multimedia program developed in 1996. It is used to add animation and interactivity to web pages.

Student Assignment: Zach
Spend several minutes clicking around this website -- find out which elements move, and be sure to watch at least one video clip.

Write a brief story about this website. Link to the website, and use this news release by the Metropolitan Transportation Committee for background information. If you use any information from this news release, you must source it. To do so, simply write "according to the Metropolitan Transportation Committee" and include a link to the release. You can also find information on this baybridgeinfo.org or download images or videos from page on the site.

Remember to include the basics -- also known as the five W's -- of a news story:

• Who
• What
• When
• Where
• Why

Upload and image and a video from this page.
