It seems to be the show to make way for more Star Wars series - such as the Book of Boba Fett and the Bad Batch. With the strategy of releasing one episode per week, Disney+ has found a way to draw users (and anger them).
The Mandolorian is a story about a Mandolorian who finds a child (the same species of Yoda) and takes him across the Star Wars universe to find the right person to care for him. Along the way, they encounter other Mandolorians, giant spiders, and war.
A third season is set to come out in December of 2022.
Next up, we have the Book of Boba Fett. This Star Wars series so far has one season and seven episodes - as of this week - and is another popular show. Explaining the life of the beloved and misunderstood clone, Boba Fett, after The Return of the Jedi was killed; the Book of Boba Fett is a bit slow at first, but then catches up when more dialogue is added.
The new series is set to explain how Boba Fett and his fellow bounty hunter try to make themselves known throughout the universe's underworld by taking over former crime lord, Jabba the Hutt's territory and fighting to let everyone know what is theirs.
It is very captivating, with new characters being added and plot twists in every new episode. The end of the first season has not yet been released, but everyone is hanging on desperately and hoping for a season two.
Last is the animated series, the Bad Batch.
This amazing series explains the life of Clone Force 99 after the fall of the Republic and Order 66 and picks up where the series the Clone Wars (2008-2020) left off. The Batch travel the universe, fighting battles, and earning money to try to survive in the new order of the Empire where the rules are yet to be known.
The series has sixteen episodes - just like the Mandolorian - and the first season just ended. The second season is set to premier sometime in the Spring of 2022.
Packed with emotion, intensity, and so much Star Wars lore it's enough for any outsider to go crazy; these three series are the most recent releases for Star Wars on Disney+.
They are quite amazing, but WARNING: The Star Wars universe is a very complicated thing, and if you go out of order, nothing will make any sense. Only proceed to watch if you completely understand the Star Wars universe and have watched all the right movies and series in the past or if you have a nerd like me to explain it.
