Leonardo Da Vinci
Leonardo was born on 15 April 1452 in Vinci. His father was Messer Piero Fruosino di Antonio da Vinci. His last name just means, “of Vinci.” His full birth name was "Lionardo di ser Piero da Vinci.” This means Leonardo, (son) of (Mes)ser Piero from Vinci. The “ser” refers to his father as a gentleman. Little is known about his mother but they do know that Fruosino di Antonio da Vinci remarried multiple times.
He was born the youngest sibling of 12 half-sibling the oldest 40 years old. While Leonardo was in the house his father went through three different wives. Overall Leonardo had a good child receiving good education but had household problems with multiple mothers passing away.
