Frida Kahlo

    Frida Kahlo was born in July of 1907 in Mexico. She was a Mexican artist who commonly made art of nature and self portraits. Inspired by the country's pop culture Frida made naive art that question race, sexuality etc. in Mexico. Kahlo was commonly known as a surrealist or magic realist, because her art was a mix of fantasy and reality. Kahlo was so well known, and good at what she does, she was a teacher of art in 2 schools, despite her struggles with an accident that caused a life long amount of pain.
