Maltese dogs

 Maltese are my personal favorite type of dog. They are also known by their scientific name, Canis familiaris Maelitacus. They originate from the Central Mediterranean island, Malta. They come from the Toy Breed. Their life span averages from 12-15 years and has an average litter of 1-3 puppies.

In my opinion, Maltese dogs are one of the cutest dogs I have ever seen.  They have a great personality and are a great size! They only need minimal grooming and very little exercise. They go great with plenty of breeds, especially with their own. They have great tolerance if you dress them up and should not bark that much if you train them the right way. 

Overall they are great pets if you are looking for a small friendly dog!
