The Hillwood Barbecue is on Sunday!

The barbecue is going to be this Sunday on October 11. It will be at Hillwood Academic Day School at 12:00 to 3:00. The Hillwood Barbecue is where all the children and parents meet and socalize while the kids have the time of their lives. I have been to the barbecue for about 7 years now and let me tell you that it is really fun.

What we do at the barbecue is first we wait for everyone to for every one to show up. But the kids will probably get bored so they go play outside and let their friends and classmates show up. Everybody is welcome to get the food and drinks that others have brought inside on a snack table. People bring in desserts and snacks .
 

The Hillwood Barbecue usually is held at a cabin in Muir Woods. But we lost it because the park people who own Muir Woods said that it was not part of the enviorment. We have had the cabin for at least 64 years now and it is really  sad that we have lost it. But the cabin is a memory that we will never forget.

We hope that Hillwood parents and childrren will be able to go to this annual event that will be this weekend. We hope that you can all make it
