This family was victim to child trafficking.
For one family, deciding to have their baby in the mom's homeland might have been the biggest mistake of their lives. Why, you may ask? Well, I'll tell you. Their baby was a victim of child trafficking.
When their baby boy was taken away, the nurses brought back a different baby. The Mother says that her baby had a lighter skin tone and different facial features.
When they got back to the US, they had a DNA test to settle the matter, once and for all. Turns out, the mom was right. The baby wasn't theirs.
They went back to the mothers homeland and consulted the government. Eventually, they got their baby back. They also agreed to take care of the other baby until they find his mother.
In conclusion, don't have your babies in 3rd world countries.
